Zea Andrews received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in K-12 Education and Speech Communication from Colorado State University. As an education professional, Zea transitioned from a high school arts and speech teacher to receiving her Master of Fine Arts and serving as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado State University and the University of California-Davis for 7 years. Directly prior to GOAL, Zea was a K-12 District Social and Emotional Specialist and she is currently working on her PhD in Trauma-Informed Educational Practices. Cross-cultural curriculum grant projects Zea has completed have expanded her experience to having taught and lived in 13 impoverished countries around the world.
Zea’s administrative mission for all students and staff is to sharpen: Leadership, Effort, Academic Excellence, Confidence, and their Resilience impact in the world around them. Zea maintains a Vision to provide a creative and sustainable Trauma-Informed education by equipping learners to be globally competent and locally relevant individuals.
Zea is a proud mom of two creative children and seven pets that she raises at 9,000 Elevation just outside of Estes Park. She enjoys camping, playing guitar, traveling and snuggling any of her 2 kids and 9 pets, but favors her Great Dane the most.
In her own words: I love serving our “At-Promise” students, they are the true definition of Grit! I am blessed to be part of this dedicated team and GOAL family.
